Gautam Gambhir Pokes Fun at Rohit Sharma's Retirement After Rishabh Pant Calls Him ‘Jethani’

Rishabh Pant was recently part of a fun chat show hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma, alongside Gautam Gambhir, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Abhishek Sharma. During the show, Pant was asked who acts like the "jethani" in the Indian dressing room, someone who bosses others around using their seniority. Pant quickly named Rohit Sharma.

Gambhir, now India’s head coach, jumped in with a witty one-liner, mentioning Rohit’s Test retirement that had everyone laughing.

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier this year after India failed to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy and lost the series 1-3. The 38-year-old stepped away from the longest format after playing 67 Tests. He scored over 4,301 runs in Tests, including several match-winning knocks as an opener.
