Virat Kohli is an Indian international cricketer who made his debut for the senior national side in a One Day International game against Sri Lanka on August 18, 2008 at Dambulla. Virat is a former captain of the Indian team across all formats of the game and currently represents the country in Test and ODI cricket.

Virat Kohli was born on 5th November 1988 to Prem and Saroj Kohli in Delhi. Growing up, Virat had two other siblings: sister Bhavna and brother Vikash.
Virat had a liking for cricket since his childhood. He did his schooling at the Vishal Bharti Public School in Delhi. In terms of cricket, he was trained under the famous Rajkumar Sharma at the West Delhi Cricket Academy.
Virat Kohli married Bollywood superstar Anushka Sharma after dating her for a couple of years. The power couple got married in December of 2017. The couple had their first child, daughter Vamika, who was born in January 2021. The couple had their second child, son Akaay, who was born in 2024.
